California Licensed Security Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security architecture, the full-time contract-to-hire Information Security Architect will work remotely to ensure technology assets are protected across corporate IT, telecom infrastructure, mobile networks, and IoT ecosystems while aligning with industry best practices and regulatory mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise security architecture framework for IT, telecom, mobile, and IoT platforms
• Define AI security guardrails and governance policies for secure use of AI technologies and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
• Collaborate with Security Operations, Network Engineering, and Cloud teams to design scalable and resilient security frameworks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master's preferred
• 7+ years of experience in Information Security Architecture & Operations roles
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, CISM, TOGAF, or AI Security Specialist
• Deep understanding of network, cloud, and application security across telecom, IT, and IoT ecosystems
• Experience with regulatory frameworks including FCC, HIPAA, NIST, and ISO 27001
