California Licensed Security Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Security Architect, the part-time remote position will manage cybersecurity architecture, integrate security tools into the development lifecycle, and provide expert guidance on secure product design while collaborating with engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Champion cybersecurity architecture and translate complex security concepts for product and engineering teams
• Conduct thorough security design reviews and threat modeling for infrastructure and application projects
• Collaborate with development teams to provide security feedback on new features and ensure compliance with security standards

Required qualifications

• Strong understanding of cloud services, major cloud platforms, and AI Security
• Proven experience conducting architecture reviews to identify application and infrastructure security risks
• Deep understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Expertise in Identity and Access Management protocols like OIDC and OAuth2.0
• Experience with web application security and microservices design patterns
