California Licensed Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineer, Security Operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end automation for the incident response lifecycle
• Build and tune high-fidelity detections in SIEM, EDR, and AI SOC platforms
• Collaborate with the Red team to detect and disrupt attacks while validating defenses

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required
• 1-5 years of experience in Security Operations or Security Engineering
• Proficiency in Python and comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and version control systems (Git)
• Hands-on experience with AWS and familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS) is a major plus
• Ability to interpret control frameworks and ensure compliance with FedRAMP readiness
