Job Summary

Focusing on ransomware governance and recovery, the full-time California Licensed Security Engineer will manage the operationalization of security improvements, enforce recovery policies, and coordinate testing for protected applications while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Support and operationalize the ransomware recovery governance program through process execution and technical validation
  • Conduct assessments of ransomware preparedness and document remediation requirements aligned with industry best practices
  • Develop and maintain a ransomware risk heat map and prepare executive-level presentations summarizing technical risks and progress
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) and 5 to 8 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in system implementation, installation, and disaster preparedness
  • Ability to network with senior internal and external personnel in the area of expertise
  • Demonstrated good judgment in selecting methods for obtaining solutions
  • Familiarity with NIST CSF, NIST 800 61, and CIS Controls
