California Licensed Security Engineer

Job Summary

As a California Licensed Security Engineer, the remote Principal Security Field Engineer will engage with customers to address security concerns, create scalable documentation, and provide technical leadership while working autonomously in a high-growth environment.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers and field teams to address security architectures and compliance questions
• Create customer-facing content such as slide decks and white papers to enhance understanding of security principles
• Identify customer pain points and collaborate with product management to improve product offerings and messaging

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of technical pre-sales or post-sales experience in security
• Strong understanding of complex security principles and architectures
• Experience in various security domains such as IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and vulnerability management
• Proficiency in scripting or programming, with a focus on using AI for scalability
• Familiarity with the Databricks platform is a strong plus
