California Licensed Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in California, the full-time California Licensed Security Engineer will engage with customers to address security concerns, create educational content, and contribute to process improvements and automation within the security field engineering team.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with field teams and customers to address security architectures and compliance questions
• Create scalable documentation, such as slides and white papers, to enhance customer understanding and internal enablement
• Identify customer pain points and collaborate with product management to improve product offerings and messaging

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of technical pre-sales or post-sales experience in a security-related role
• Strong understanding of complex security principles and architectures
• Real-world experience in multiple security domains, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and network security
• Experience with scripting or programming, with a focus on leveraging AI for scalability
• Familiarity with the Databricks platform is a strong plus
