California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to manage accounting and financial statements for its subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions in General Ledgers and ensure timely closure
• Create account reconciliations and analyze balance sheet accounts
• Support year-end audits and prepare financial reporting packages for management

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting or 5+ years of private industry accounting experience
• Previous public accounting experience is strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP principles and SOX internal controls
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or CPA license is required
