California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant (REMOTE).

Key Responsibilities

• Support the accounting close team during the ERP implementation and backfill for business-as-usual close activities
• Review actual financial results, analyze trends, and support quarterly financial reporting for assigned divisions
• Prepare or review financial reporting packages, reconciliations, journal entries, and perform line-of-business financial analysis

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
• Experience managing or supporting accounting close processes in an insurance or financial services organization
• Demonstrated experience with GAAP and Statutory financial reporting
• Broad-based financial and leadership background
• CPA preferred
