Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support an entertainment client in Los Angeles on a long-term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and refine the royalties process for accurate revenue allocation and recognition using NetSuite
• Perform extensive data manipulation and normalization of large datasets using advanced Excel techniques
• Collaborate with a team to manage daily accounting tasks, including royalties management and financial reporting

Required Qualifications and Education

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in formulas and data manipulation
• Experience working with large datasets and normalization techniques
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, especially revenue recognition and allocation
• Familiarity with NetSuite and accounting related to film/media rights is preferred
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
