California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to assist in ensuring adherence to accounting policies and procedures in conformance with GAAP and SEC guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare routine and non-routine journal entries and adjustments for month-end close
• Prepare and review monthly reconciliations of assigned accounts
• Assist in the development and documentation of key processes and controls

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 4+ years of related work experience, preferably in public accounting
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with ASC 606 preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA license preferred
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
