California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day and monthly accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support financial reporting, ensure compliance with internal controls, and optimize financial systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or CPA-track preferred
• 3-6 years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit accounting
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar financial systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and nonprofit financial practices
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage multiple workflows in a remote environment
