California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and compliance within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support payroll accounting and assist in the preparation of financial packages
• Ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls while identifying process improvements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
• 5 - 10 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system and strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of government contracting and FAR/CAS is a plus
• Master's degree or CPA preferred
