California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

To support a growing digital marketing agency, the full-time California Licensed Senior Accountant will manage the order-to-cash lifecycle, lead month-end and year-end closes, and maintain the general ledger while working remotely within PST hours.

Key responsibilities

• Manage automated invoicing, accounts receivable, and the collections process
• Lead month-end and year-end financial closes, including journal entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze monthly P&Ls, identifying variances for Finance leadership

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or high-growth startup environment
• 1+ years of order-to-cash or billing experience, including invoicing and DSO management
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and strong Excel skills
• Experience with AI tools for automating accounting processes
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
