California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Owning the full accounting cycle, the full-time California Licensed Senior Accountant will manage general ledger maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting for a multi-site healthcare organization while working remotely with some in-office flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements that reflect the performance of the organization
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across all clinic locations, resolving discrepancies efficiently
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights for strategic decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA license or active CPA candidacy preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a healthcare or multi-site environment
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and experience with ASC 842, ASC 606, and financial reporting
• Experience with healthcare revenue cycle accounting and familiarity with CPT codes and insurance adjudication
• Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, along with advanced Excel skills
