California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Accountant, the full-time remote position will manage general ledger accounting, payroll accounting, and ensure compliance with government accounting requirements in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
• Support payroll accounting and preparation of monthly financial packages
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with SOX and internal controls

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent combination of experience and education
• 5 - 10 years of related accounting/finance work experience
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system and strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of FAR/CAS and experience supporting government contracting is a plus
• CPA designation preferred but not required
