California Licensed Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting the accounting operations of a rapidly growing healthcare organization, the full-time California Licensed Senior Accountant will ensure the accuracy of financial records, assist with month-end close processes, and prepare financial reports while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and financial reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain general ledger account reconciliations and monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform variance analysis and assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Two to three years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting systems
