Job Summary
Focused on accounting and financial reporting, the full-time California Licensed Senior Accountant will manage journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own assigned journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations for month-end close
- Prepare internal reporting packages and conduct analyses to explain account activity and discrepancies
- Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and collaborating on process improvements
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 4 years of relevant experience in accounting
- 5 years of experience in accounting specialization, such as tax or financial analytics
- Proficiency in US GAAP and experience with journal entries and financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex accounting issues independently
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel; ERP experience preferred
