California Licensed Senior Accountant
Job Summary
To support the financial operations of a pediatric healthcare facility, the full-time California Licensed Senior Accountant will manage complex general ledger activities, develop financial statements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, with the option for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual period close processes as assigned
- Design and maintain internal controls and financial reporting systems
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, cost reports, and various financial reports
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited college or university
- Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in accounting
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to analyze complex problems and communicate financial concepts effectively
