California Licensed Senior Accounting Manager
Job Summary
To support complex accounting functions, the full-time California Licensed Senior Accounting Manager will execute accounting treatments, prepare entries and schedules, and ensure proper revenue recognition and lease accounting while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review accounting entries and reconciliations for technical accounting areas, including ASC 606 and ASC 842
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition for customer contracts and maintain lease accounting compliance
- Research and interpret complex accounting guidance under U.S. GAAP and support annual financial statement audits
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Active CPA license with experience in a national public accounting firm
- 8+ years of accounting experience, including supervisory roles
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with ERP systems such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite is a plus
