Job Summary

Working with a high degree of autonomy in a remote environment, the full-time California Licensed Senior Actuarial Analyst will contribute to the actuarial pricing and reserving group, mentor colleagues, and perform data analysis to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities:
  • Extract, manipulate, and validate data while performing analyses and completing ad-hoc requests
  • Evaluate existing processes for efficiency and identify opportunities for automation
  • Maintain industry knowledge and represent the organization at external events
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
  • Two years of actuarial experience, preferably in California personal lines
  • Completion of a minimum of four actuarial exams with plans to pursue fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society
  • Proficient SQL and data manipulation skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, R, Python, or other relevant actuarial software
