California Licensed Senior Appraiser

Job Summary

To support the appraisal review process, the fully remote California Licensed Senior Appraiser will manage valuation requests, engage third-party vendors, and ensure compliance with appraisal regulations while evaluating various commercial property types.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire valuation request process from appraisal procurement to review report completion
• Develop scopes of work for appraisal bids and provide recommendations to the lending team
• Review appraisal reports for quality and compliance with regulations, coordinating any necessary revisions with vendors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years of experience appraising and/or reviewing complex commercial properties
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the real estate, banking, or financial industry
• Certified General Real Estate Appraiser
• Strong understanding of USPAP and federal appraisal regulatory requirements
