California Licensed Senior Associate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Associate Counsel - Merger and Acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides guidance on complex legal matters and manages outside counsel as needed
• Reviews, drafts, and negotiates mergers and acquisitions-related agreements
• Assists in supervising, mentoring, and training associate attorneys and legal team members

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Five or more years of related work experience
• Member in good standing of at least one State Bar or the District of Columbia Bar
• Experience in preparing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with minimal supervision
• Experience supporting merger and acquisition transactions and advising on corporate governance matters
