Job Summary
Seeking a California Licensed Senior Attorney Editor, the full-time remote position will conduct in-depth legal research, draft and edit legal commentary, and collaborate with authors to produce high-quality content for the Witkin Library and Rutter Group Practice Guides.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous legal research and analysis of authorities, monitoring new case law and legislation
- Draft, review, and edit legal commentary and practical guidance to ensure accuracy and clarity
- Collaborate with outside authors and internal partners to ensure seamless content production
Required qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active admission to the California Bar
- Minimum of 6 years of experience practicing law in California
- Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Exceptional editorial judgment and attention to detail
- Proven ability to adapt quickly to new fields of law
