Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Claims Adjuster I in California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage workers' compensation claims, including medical and indemnity benefits, with minimal oversight
  • Analyze case facts and establish reserves while collaborating with Corporate Claims to mitigate high exposure losses
  • Mentor team members and act as a Subject Matter Expert for legal and jurisdictional needs
Required Qualifications
  • 7 or more years of related claims experience, including complex claim handling
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workers' compensation laws and related claim management procedures
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Preferred certifications include WCCP, AIC, ARM, CPCU, or other insurance designations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred
