Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Claims Adjuster I in California.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage workers' compensation claims, including medical and indemnity benefits, with minimal oversight
- Analyze case facts and establish reserves while collaborating with Corporate Claims to mitigate high exposure losses
- Mentor team members and act as a Subject Matter Expert for legal and jurisdictional needs
Required Qualifications
- 7 or more years of related claims experience, including complex claim handling
- Demonstrated knowledge of workers' compensation laws and related claim management procedures
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Preferred certifications include WCCP, AIC, ARM, CPCU, or other insurance designations
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred
