Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Claims Adjuster I in California.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage workers' compensation claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing of medical and indemnity benefits
  • Analyze case facts to establish reserves and collaborate with Corporate Claims to mitigate high exposure losses
  • Review litigation issues and direct legal strategy while mentoring team members as a Subject Matter Expert
Required Qualifications
  • 7 or more years of related claims experience, including complex claim handling
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workers' compensation laws and related claim management procedures
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience preferred
  • Preferred certifications include WCCP, AIC, ARM, CPCU or other insurance designations
