Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time California Licensed Senior Claims Adjuster will independently manage all aspects of workers' compensation claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional customer service in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Handle all phases of workers' compensation claims from setup to closure, including evaluating complex claims and determining compensability decisions
- Serve as a primary contact for partner agents and customers, providing claim guidance and status updates while advocating for a leading claims customer experience
- Continuously improve claims operations by identifying opportunities and gaps in service, handling SOPs, and managing legal activities effectively
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of workers' compensation claims adjusting experience, preferably with a carrier background
- Experience handling California workers' compensation claims is required
- Active licensing in applicable states
- Advanced knowledge of jurisdictional regulatory and statutory requirements, as well as claims adjudication and litigation management
