Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation (California).
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and settle advanced, large-loss, and complex claims with minimal supervision
- Manage all aspects of investigative activity on complex claims and direct litigation strategy with legal counsel
- Establish reserves, authorize payments, and prepare claims activity reports for clients and management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 4-8 years of technical claims investigations/settling experience in Claims or a similar organization
- Workers Compensation (WC) Adjuster License required according to jurisdictional requirements
- Industry designations preferred: IIA, AIC, AEI, and/or CPCU
- Ability to work independently while assimilating various technical subjects
