Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Train new coders on department policies and correct coding principles
• Analyze coder workloads and make recommendations to supervisors to ensure timely completion of work
• Review encounters for appropriate coding assignments and ensure accurate documentation prior to claim submission

Required Qualifications

• 4 years of professional fee coding experience with in-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD, and HCPCS coding guidelines
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPC or CCS-P Certification
• Prior lead coder experience preferred
• Experience with GECB/IDX and Cerner preferred
