Job Summary
To support compliance efforts, the full-time California Licensed Senior Compliance Attorney will draft, edit, and finalize documentation for captive insurance programs while collaborating with Corporate Legal and various internal teams in a virtual environment.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborates with internal teams to prepare and negotiate various legal documents and agreements
- Prepares regulatory submissions and responses to inquiries from regulators, clients, and other stakeholders
- Assists with claims management processes and maintains compliance with legal and regulatory standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D) or equivalent law degree
- Seven (7) or more years of related work experience
- Three (3) or more years of experience as an attorney in a law firm or in-house legal department
- Member in good standing of a state bar
