California Licensed Senior Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions throughout their lifecycle
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and provide strategic legal advice on M&A strategy
• Advise on legal and regulatory issues related to compliance matters impacting M&A transactions

Required Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. jurisdiction, preferably California
• 7+ years of legal experience, including significant big law firm and corporate experience
• In-house U.S. public company experience advising on M&A and strategic investments
• Experience with entity management and corporate transactions in the technology sector strongly preferred
