California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel to manage high-stakes litigation and provide leadership within the legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes and independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Communicate routinely with clients and cultivate relationships with existing and future clients
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys

Required Qualifications

• JD from an ABA approved school
• Active bar license in the State of California
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in litigation support and trial preparation
• Experience managing full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
• Preferred experience in handling insurance defense matters
