California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel to manage the legal function end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate and execute all commercial agreements, including MSAs, SaaS subscription agreements, and NDAs
• Build and maintain a contract playbook and leverage AI solutions to enhance legal operations
• Serve as the primary legal liaison for corporate governance matters and advise on compliance issues

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar admission in good standing
• 8-10 years of legal experience, including in-house experience at a B2B SaaS company
• Deep fluency in commercial SaaS contracts and AI/data licensing
• Experience with data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA
• Proven track record of building legal infrastructure and compliance programs
