California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel to handle complex litigation cases in California.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes and independently manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Communicate routinely with clients and cultivate relationships with existing and future clients
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys while working as part of a team

Required Qualifications

• JD from an ABA approved school and an active bar license in California
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation
• Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
• Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
• Proficiency in MS Suite, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
