Job Summary

Leading high-stakes insurance defense cases, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will manage complex trials, develop strategic case plans, and provide client advisement while working in a flexible environment that supports remote, hybrid, or onsite arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Complex Trials: Represent clients in high-exposure insurance defense cases, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death
• Case Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive case strategies, including risk assessments and trial preparations
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff to ensure high-quality legal work

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California and eligibility for federal court practice
• 8+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation with a focus on complex trial work
• Demonstrated success as lead trial counsel in high-stakes cases
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure, tort law, and trial strategies
