California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Supporting the Module/Solution Sales business in North America, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will manage the review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial contracts related to solar PV modules and energy storage systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and review various agreements and legal documents to support business objectives
• Provide practical legal advice to management and assist with compliance initiatives and training
• Collaborate with sales and other commercial teams on day-to-day legal matters and project teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in contract negotiations, preferably in the energy or renewable industry
• In-house commercial contracting experience supporting a sales organization is a plus
• Strong negotiation skills with a focus on drafting complex legal contracts
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing priorities
• Proficiency in technology applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and web meeting tools
