California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and proactive, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will provide strategic legal counsel, ensure compliance, and support business objectives in a remote environment, focusing on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters within the gaming and fintech industries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, including fintech and securities
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including partnership and licensing agreements
• Advise on compliance with US and international laws relevant to gaming, finance, and technology sectors

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active membership in good standing with the California State Bar
• Minimum 7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house at a technology or gaming company
• Deep knowledge of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law, with experience in securities law matters
• Demonstrated expertise in fintech, payment processing, and cryptocurrency legal frameworks
• Experience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements
