California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently manage high-stakes litigation, lead court appearances, and provide mentorship to junior attorneys while working in a flexible environment that supports remote, hybrid, or onsite arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys while cultivating client relationships

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved school
• Active bar license in California
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities
• Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite
