California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel in a full-time capacity, who will lead complex insurance defense trials, develop case strategies, and provide client advisement while managing litigation processes both remotely and onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Complex Trials: Represent clients in high-exposure insurance defense cases, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death
• Case Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive case strategies and oversee all stages of litigation
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and support staff to ensure high-quality work

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California and eligibility for federal courts
• 8+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation with a focus on complex trials
• Demonstrated success as lead trial counsel in high-stakes cases
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure, tort law, and trial strategies
