Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel in a full-time capacity, the accomplished attorney will lead complex trials in high-exposure insurance defense cases, develop case strategies, and provide client advisement while working in a flexible environment that supports both remote and onsite arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Complex Trials: Represent clients in high-exposure insurance defense cases, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death
• Case Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute case strategies, including risk assessment and trial preparation
• Client Advisement: Provide clear legal advice and updates to clients, insurance carriers, and adjusters throughout the litigation process

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California and eligibility to practice in federal courts
• 8+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation with a focus on complex trial work
• Demonstrated success as lead trial counsel in high-stakes cases
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure, tort law, and trial strategies
