California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently manage court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while cultivating client relationships and providing leadership to junior attorneys in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including trials and depositions
• Provide mentorship and leadership to less experienced attorneys

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved school
• Active bar license in the State of California
• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proficiency in managing full case handling responsibilities
• Experience with time management systems and MS Suite applications
