Job Summary

Supporting the direct-to-homeowner solar sales and financing business, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will manage a range of legal matters including consumer protection, regulatory compliance, and commercial contracts, while collaborating with cross-functional teams, with the possibility of remote work for exceptional candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Primarily support contracts for the TPO business, focusing on consumer and dealer contracts
• Negotiate, draft, and review various commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners
• Provide legal support for litigation, regulatory matters, and consumer protection while managing legal projects effectively

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of legal experience, preferably with top law firm training
• In-house experience with a broad range of responsibilities
• Experience in the direct-to-homeowner solar sales and financing sector or related clean energy technology
• Strong judgment with the ability to communicate legal risks to non-attorneys
• A proactive attitude with a history of career advancement and problem-solving skills
