Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel for a full-time remote position, who will lead complex insurance defense trials, develop case strategies, and provide client advisement while mentoring junior attorneys in a dynamic legal environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex trials representing clients in high-exposure insurance defense cases
• Develop and execute case strategies, including risk assessment and trial preparation
• Oversee all stages of litigation and serve as lead counsel in jury trials and mediations

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in California with eligibility for federal courts
• 8+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation focused on complex trial work
• Demonstrated success as lead trial counsel in high-stakes cases
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure, tort law, and trial strategies
