California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time position will manage high-exposure cases, develop compelling case themes, and lead litigation teams while working in a flexible environment that supports remote, hybrid, or onsite arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Develop case themes that effectively counter plaintiff strategies
• Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved school
• Active California bar license
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proficient in managing full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial
• Experience with time management systems and MS Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
