California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time position will independently manage litigation cases, including court appearances and trial preparations, while fostering client relationships and mentoring junior attorneys in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff narratives
• Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved school
• Active bar license in the State of California
• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in trial preparation
• Experience handling insurance defense matters preferred
• Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities with minimal supervision
