California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time position will independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials while providing leadership and direction to junior attorneys, with flexible work arrangements available.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Independently manage all aspects of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation
• Foster client relationships and mentor less experienced attorneys

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved school
• Active bar license in the State of California
• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proficiency in MS Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities with minimal supervision
