California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time position will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while leading litigation teams and cultivating client relationships in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes that effectively counter plaintiff strategies
• Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances and trial preparation
• Provide leadership and mentorship to less experienced attorneys while maintaining routine client communications

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA-approved law school
• Active bar license in the State of California
• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in trial preparation and insurance defense
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities with minimal supervision
