California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Supporting the Module/Solution Sales business in North America, the full-time salaried California Licensed Senior Counsel will negotiate, draft, and review commercial agreements related to solar PV modules and energy storage systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, and review various agreements and legal documents to achieve business goals
• Provide practical legal advice to management and assist with compliance initiatives
• Collaborate with sales and other commercial teams on day-to-day legal matters and projects

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in contract negotiations, preferably in the energy or renewable industry
• In-house commercial contracting experience supporting a sales organization is a plus
• Strong negotiation skills and experience drafting complex legal contracts
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing priorities
• Proficiency in legal tech tools for document automation and diligence is preferred
