Job Summary

Experienced California Licensed Senior Counsel will own strategic partnerships end-to-end in a full-time capacity, managing legal structures for fintech collaborations, advising on regulatory compliance, and driving product innovation remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the legal work to structure and launch bank-fintech partnerships across various banking products and services
• Draft, negotiate, and manage complex customer and third-party partnership agreements
• Advise on product strategy and regulatory architecture to enable innovative financial solutions

Required qualifications

• Currently licensed in a U.S. state with a J.D. or equivalent, and 7-15+ years of legal experience, preferably in fintech or financial institutions
• Deep expertise in banking infrastructure and embedded finance solutions
• Strong ability to draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory frameworks governing banking partnerships and fintech services
• Experience with structuring agreements for bank-fintech lending partnerships and cross-border money movement
