California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Supporting the direct-to-homeowner solar sales and financing business, the full-time California Licensed Senior Counsel will manage contracts, negotiate commercial agreements, and provide legal support on various matters including regulatory compliance and litigation, with the possibility of remote work for exceptional candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Primarily support contracts for the TPO business, focusing on consumer and dealer contracts
• Negotiate, draft, and review various commercial agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners
• Project manage and collaborate across cross-functional teams to advance legal projects in alignment with business objectives

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of legal experience, preferably with top law firm training
• In-house experience with a broad range of responsibilities
• Experience in the direct-to-homeowner solar sales and financing sector or clean energy technology is a plus
• Strong judgment and ability to communicate legal risks to non-attorney audiences
• A proactive, self-motivated individual with a history of career advancement
