California Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

Seeking a California Licensed Senior Counsel, the full-time attorney will independently manage court appearances, depositions, and trials while providing leadership to junior attorneys and cultivating client relationships in a flexible work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop compelling case themes to counter plaintiff strategies
• Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including court appearances and trial preparation
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced attorneys while maintaining routine client communications

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-approved law school
• Active California bar license
• 8+ years of litigation experience, particularly in insurance defense
• Proven ability to manage full case handling responsibilities
• Experience with time management systems and proficiency in MS Suite
